The recommendation will always be to use the merger on a regular basis. It is a highly automated procedure that achieves very low attenuation levels.

For those who have a PROLITE-40B or PROLITE-41 fusion kit (fuser, peeler and cutter), the OP-040 Kit is available as an extension of the fusion kit.
