The GR-205 is a synthesized RF signal generator that allows working over a wide dynamic range, with low noise and inherent good frequency stability. It also offers the possibility of modulating signals both in frequency (FM), amplitude (AM) and phase (PM), internally or externally. The instrument can be controlled manually using the front panel or remotely using the RS232 interface or the GPIB interface.
This generator incorporates the essential features necessary for measuring the sensitivity of radio receivers, measuring system gain, oscillator replacement, EMC/antenna/level measurements, tuning and alignment of receivers and as a signal generator for many other RF circuits and system development tasks.
The GR-205 can store up to nine different configurations in non-volatile memory. This capability allows repetitive test procedures to be carried out quickly and efficiently.
