ATEN VC882-AT-G The VC882 is a True 4K HDMI repeater with audio embedding and de-embedding capable of embedding or de-embedding the HDMI audio signal and transmitting the HDMI signal up to 5 meters away with True 4K resolution. In addition to independently embedding audio into an outgoing HDMI signal, the VC882 repeater also allows you to extract audio from the HDMI signal and output the extracted signal through an alternative audio system. As for audio features, the VC882 supports a wide variety of HDM audio formats such as LPCM2.0, Dolby Digital 2.0, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Digital 5.1. The VC882 repeater also supports the ARC function, which eliminates the need to run bulky cables when connecting an AV receiver or home theater system to a TV. On the other hand, the VC882 supports True 4K (4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz 4:4:4) and supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) formats to deliver surprisingly sharp images. Additionally, it supports HDCP 2.2 for content protection. The compact housing design, True 4K signal transmission, and keying/dekeying capabilities have made the VC882 the ideal solution for training and conference rooms, video production, and home theater installations.
