GSM/GPRS transmitter to central receiver. SMS. 3rd grade. Nexus devices are not the usual devices to connect to mobile networks. They offer excellent performance and are integrated with INIM's intrusion control panels. Their installation is simple: they are connected to the BUS like any other peripheral and can be installed both in the control panel and at any point reached by the BUS in order to increase the reception quality of the field. Once connected to the central, they offer another communication channel that is added to the PSTN and from which it is possible to send voice or digital telephone calls through the GSM/3G network.. . Therefore, the control panels can have this second telephone number which, in addition to answering incoming calls, allows the voice menu to be available with DTMF commands for enabled users. With Nexus, the control panels send automatic or customizable SMS for each event, and can also receive commands sent by SMS. In this way you can activate or deactivate scenarios and outputs, request the status of the device and much more. The same operations can also be carried out with the recognition of a certain calling number (CallerID). Nexus/G and Nexus/3G go even further. In addition to all the functions mentioned, they allow the control panels to be controlled via the GSM/GPRS/3G network. The device connects to the IP address programmed in the control panel during installation or to another IP address that the installer decides to configure in each case by sending a simple SMS. Shortly after receiving the SMS text message, the computer connects to the remote PBX using the specified IP address. In this way it is possible to activate a remote control session via GPRS/3G, to read or write the programming of the control panel, even when far from the office, or via a mobile connection such as Internet-key, Tethering or Hotspot from a mobile phone .
