There are several types of lock release mechanisms, it depends on the TYPE OF OPERATION that is needed.

TYPE A_AUTOMATIC 12Vac:

• A (Automatic Operation and 12Vac activation): the lock-release unlocks automatically when it receives a 12Vac voltage impulse. The lock release locks again once the power is no longer supplied and the door opens and closes mechanically. For a correct installation, the automatic latch must be pressed about 3mm by the door latch once it is closed.

The electric MECHANISM is a device that is installed in the door frame to control its opening from a remote location using an electrical device. In an electronic door entry installation, it is possible to activate the building entrance mechanism and allow visitor access from the home's telephone or monitor by pressing the door opener 'key' button. A lock release is made up of an electrical mechanism and an armor or cover depending on whether it is built-in or surface-mounted.

Reversible (DIN Right or DIN Left).

It allows opening both to the right and to the left.

Symmetrical.

It allows you to change hands while maintaining the symmetry of the body. DIN STANDARD

The DIN STANDARD establishes the opening direction of the door and names the type of lock release installed.

Looking at the door from the side where the hinges are visible:

If the hinges are to the left of the observer, it is a Left DIN lock release.

If the hinges are to the right of the observer, it is a Right DIN lock release.

SERIES 540

STANDARD electric mechanism Series 540, whose dimensions are:

Recessed in wooden or metal frames. Its small size (67mm in height) allows you to change hands without having to enlarge the hole where the lock release is housed and makes it especially suitable for both the replacement market and new construction.

Its standard version offers MAX adjustable latch, which allows adjustment between the latch and the striker with an adjustment of up to 3mm, in the installation process.

Its installation to embed is recommended with the short frame type S ref. 2973 or for doors with a bolt entry, the long type M REF. 2893.

Its installation on the surface is recommended with concealed fixing covers type 2005 (chrome) ref.2983, type 2007 (grey) ref. 2964 or visible fixing type 2001 (chrome plated) ref. 2979, type 2006 (grey) ref. 2987.

MAX ADJUSTABLE LATCH:

The lock release includes an adjustable latch, allowing an exact fit between the latch and the striker, with a margin of 4mm. Allows the door leaf not to press the bolt of the lock release.
