The embeddable electric lock release is a device that is installed in the door frame to control its opening from a remote location using an electrical device. In an electronic door entry installation, it is possible to activate the door opener at the entrance to the building and allow visitor access from the home telephone or monitor by pressing the door opener "key" button. DIN STANDARD
The DIN STANDARD establishes the opening direction of the door and names the type of lock release installed.
Looking at the door from the side where the hinges are visible:
If the hinges are to the left of the observer, it is a Left DIN lock release.
If the hinges are to the right of the observer, it is a Right DIN lock release.
There are several types of lock release mechanisms, it depends on the TYPE OF OPERATION that is needed.
TYPE Aa_AUTOMATIC_INVISIBLE 12Vac:
• Aa (Invisible Automatic Operation and activation at 12 Vac): the lock release automatically unlocks when it receives a 12Vac voltage impulse. The lock release locks again once the power is no longer supplied and the door opens and closes mechanically. It is indicated that it is invisible since it does not have the normal pin of the Automatic lock release.
MAX ADJUSTABLE LATCH:
The lock release includes an adjustable latch, allowing an exact fit between the latch and the striker, with a margin of 4mm. Allows the door leaf not to press the bolt of the lock release.
