Surface.
The surface electric lock release is a device that is installed in the door frame to control its opening from a remote location using an electrical device. In an electronic door entry installation, it is possible to activate the door opener at the entrance to the building and allow visitor access from the home telephone or monitor by pressing the door opener "key" button. A surface lock release is made up of an electrical mechanism and a cover.
Reversible (DIN Right or DIN Left).
It allows opening both to the right and to the left.
Not symmetrical.
It allows changing hands but taking into account that the body is not symmetrical when changing from DIN RIGHT to DIN LEFT.
DIN STANDARD
The DIN STANDARD establishes the opening direction of the door and names the type of lock release installed.
Looking at the door from the side where the hinges are visible:
If the hinges are to the left of the observer, it is a Left DIN lock release.
If the hinges are to the right of the observer, it is a Right DIN lock release.
There are several types of lock release mechanisms, it depends on the TYPE OF OPERATION that is needed.
TYPE N_NORMAL 12Vac:
• N (Normal Operation and activation at 12 Vac): the lock release unlocks during the time that a 12 Vac voltage is applied to it.
One-piece 146mm case. In CHROME finish.
