Fermax 7440 V Skyline proximity reader
Reader that allows the door to be opened by bringing a proximity card or key ring closer. Only authorized cards or key fobs will activate the device. No physical contact is necessary.
Reader that allows the door to be opened by bringing a proximity card or key ring closer. Only authorized cards or key fobs will activate the device. No need for physical contact.
Proximity reader that by means of a configuration of dipswitches (SW2) that it incorporates can work in an autonomous or centralized system.
Configuration as AUTONOMOUS.
Capacity of up to 400 user cards or keyrings.
Reader and controller integrated in the same module.
Configuration as CENTRALIZED MDS-AC Plus.
Proximity reader with capacity up to:
- 1020 user cards / key fobs with the MDS central unit (ref. 2405).
- 2048 user cards / keyrings with the AC Plus central unit (ref. 4410).
Reader and controller integrated in the same module.
Configuration as CENTRALIZED with Wiegand 26 or Data / Clock protocol.
When starting the reader if it is in mode:
- Wiegand-26, the "+" led will light up for 1 second.
- Data / Clock, the led «-» will light up for 1 second.
Proximity reader with capacity up to:
- 1020 user cards / keyrings with the MDS central unit (ref. 2405).
- 2048 user cards / keyrings with the AC Plus central unit (ref. 4410).
It requires a door controller (ref. 4420) for its connection and operation.
Acoustic and visual confirmation by means of signaling LEDs of the acceptance or rejection of the presented card.
Access control module, to be incorporated into SKYLINE and CITYLINE door entry / video door entry panels.
Recommended for indoors and outdoors.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
AUTONOMOUS Technical Characteristics:
- Does not require physical contact reader-card. Reading distance at 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key ring).
- Acoustic and visual information on actions.
- Very simple manual or PC programming (card registration / cancellation).
- Door sensor control and exit button
- Relay output.
- Activation of lock release by relay with programmable time. Programmable 1 to 99 sec.
- Signaling LEDs (helps programming and status).
Autonomous Programming
- It can be done in 3 ways:
• By Master Card.
• Private programming keyboard.
• PC software.
CENTRALIZED MDS-AC Plus Technical Characteristics:
- Does not require physical contact reader-card. Reading distance at 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key ring).
- Acoustic and visual information on actions.
- Lock-release pushbutton input, door sensor input and lock-release relay (C, NO, NC, potential free).
- Reader wiring - Central Unit: 2 wires (power supply) + shielded twisted pair (data). In an installation with several readers they can be cascaded.
- It has a dipswitch (SW1) to configure:
• Door Number (switches 1..5): the access / door number (0..31).
• Switch 6: No function.
• Door release opening (switches 7..8): depending on the installation:
- Lock-release opening time (sec.) In MDS.
- In AC Plus software configuration (switches without function).
- CN3 connector: keyboard connector.
- The lock releases can be connected directly to the reader and for maximum security installations use the relay decoder.
Centralized Scheduling
Programming is done from the PC software corresponding to the installed central unit (ref. 2405 or ref. 4410).
CENTRALIZED Technical Characteristics with Wiegand 26 or Data / Clock protocol:
- Does not require physical contact reader-card. Reading distance at 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key ring).
- Acoustic and visual information on actions.
- The Wiegand (WG) or Data / Clock readers allow to provide the installation with greater anti-sabotage security by not connecting the door opening mechanism or the exit button connection to the reader. All devices are plugged into the door controller and thus are out of the reach of tampering. The door controller will be installed indoors (safe area) and the reader outdoors.
- The reader can be used with other door controllers that use the Wiegand 26 (WG) or Data / Clock protocols.
- Wiring: 7 wires to the door controller.
- For more information, see Technical Characteristics of the door controller.
Centralized Scheduling
Programming is carried out from the PC software corresponding to the installed central unit (ref. 2405 or ref. 4410).
