FUNCTIONS

The DUAL DUOX PLUS 1S Regenerator can be used for the following purposes:

• Increase in the capacity of the installation in distance and / or load of terminals. The regenerator has to be connected at a point where the signal is acceptable (for example, where a monitor works correctly).

1. Plate distance extension.

2. Extension monitors.

3. Signal feedback.

• Isolation of sections (trunks,…). The two sections between which it is installed are isolated against short circuits, load and signal reflections.

• When powered by one port, the regenerator allows a maximum current of 1.6 A to pass to the other port.

• Also in mode as multichannel regenerator, establishment of simultaneous conversations in different blocks.

The assembly can be done both by screw fixing, and by installation on a DIN rail.

Wiring

The regenerator can be powered by either of its two ports, but not by both simultaneously. If so, SW1 microswitch 4 must be placed in the OFF position to isolate the current from both ports.

The maximum distance will depend on the topology and cable of the installation. See table of sections and distances for more details. With DUOX you have maximum versatility, thanks to the stability and robustness in the signal transmission of this completely digital system that avoids any possible reflection and interference in the installation. The DUOX amplifier includes a voice synthesizer as standard. When the lock release is activated, a message is emitted: "door open, close after entering". Up to 3 terminals (telephones/monitors) can be installed in each home. Residential terminals require simple programming. By means of this programming, a call code is assigned to each terminal. The communication is private. Cabling: Any type of cable can be selected: parallel, twisted pair and UTP CAT5 in new construction, and existing cabling can even be used in replacement works (5-wire, 2-wire bell or old 4+N cable). 2 wires without polarity. It is recommended to see the table of sections-distances-terminals-feeding.
