Fermax 9404 DUOX PLUS TESTER

The DUOX PLUS Tester is used to assess the operation of each of the video entrance panels with the DUOX PLUS monitors in an installation, objectively and without the need to enter the homes.

A test is launched from a board to one or more terminals. Thus, the operation of that specific board with said terminals is verified.

This operation is performed from a user interface on a web browser. From a mobile phone, tablet or laptop we can connect to the installation, through the Wi-Fi generated by the Tester DUOX PLUS device.

Description

UTILITY: Evaluate the operation of each of the video panels with the DUOX PLUS monitors of an installation, objectively and without the need to enter the homes.

CONCEPT: a test is launched from a board to one or several terminals. Thus, the operation of that specific board with said terminals is verified.

HOW: from a user interface on a web browser. From a mobile phone, tablet or laptop we can connect to the installation (locally, not remotely), through the Wi-Fi generated by the Tester DUOX PLUS device.

Wifi access point generation

Connect the BUS INPUT terminals to the DUOX PLUS bus of the installation.

When receiving power, the device generates a Wifi access point (Wifi network).

This Wi-Fi network is what will allow us to connect to the installation from our mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) and access the user interface in the web browser from where we will carry out the test.

Access to the user interface in the browser

Access to the user interface in the browser can be done in two ways, depending on how we connect to the Wi-Fi network generated by the tester:

Scanning the QR code on the tester (faster).

Selecting the Wi-Fi network generated by the tester on our mobile, tablet or laptop and entering the password to access that Wi-Fi network.

Test Types

It is possible to carry out 1 Discovery test of the installation terminals (for both telephones and monitors) and 3 types of operation tests (only for monitors):

Discovery: serves to identify the type of terminals and their DUOX PLUS addresses in said installation. Applicable to telephones and monitors from the version indicated in the product manual.

Basic Test (default): this is a quick test for a first identification of possible problems, with a duration of approximately 5 seconds/monitor. Only applicable to monitors from the version indicated in the product manual.

Intermediate Test: This test has an average duration between the rapid test and the complete test, for a more in-depth analysis. Only applicable to monitors from the version indicated in the product manual.

Complete test: This is the longest test of the 3. It is a more exhaustive test. Only applicable to monitors from the version indicated in the product manual.

MONITOR INSTALLER MENU: Allows you to block and/or enable the installer menus on DUOX PLUS monitors.

PANEL CONNECTION TEST: Allows you to evaluate the quality of the connection of the panel with the "Tester".

RECOVER TEST: Allows you to recover tests carried out if any type of problem has occurred with the "Tester", the device or the connection between them.

COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER DUOX PLUS PRODUCTS

It is important to check the version compatibility between the TESTER DUOX and the terminals and boards that we want to test, for this there is an explanatory table in the technical documentation.

It is recommended to clear the cache of the browser of the device where the test is going to be carried out.

While the test is being carried out, calls cannot be made from the elements that are part of the test.
