The sections on both sides require their own power set ('' filter + source ''): the 1-output regenerator amplifies the data, but does not pass the power.
Recommended use: extend distances, increase the number of terminals, isolate segments of the installation, isolate changes in cable section in the same segment.
Small in size, they can be installed in electrical registers.
They can be screwed directly to the wall.
It is the first fully digital system in non-polarized two-wire technology.
