Changers are necessary in installations with more than one access. Its function is to connect the home telephone or monitor with the panel from where the call is being made.

There are two models that depend on the type of additional access: intercom or video intercom.
DIN-10 rail format to facilitate installation inside an electrical equipment box, or they can be screwed directly onto the wall.
Conventional System: uses wires common to the entire installation plus 1 call wire (or call return) per dwelling.
Recommended in small/medium sized buildings (up to 50 neighbors approx.), with various entrances and central guard unit. For urbanizations with general entrance and inner blocks.
Cabling:
Doorman: 4 common wires + N (1 call wire per apartment).
Video intercom: 7 common wires + 1 video coaxial + N (1 call wire per home).
Maximum distance in the installation depending on the section of the cable used (consult technical manuals)
